Program Integration & Control

Project Engineering is not just about tracking charts; it is about command, accountability, and delivering the mission.


At Forward Engineering, we don't just "monitor" progress; we drive it. 

We perform horizontal and vertical program integration to steer the program to success.



Program Integration (Oversight and Execution)

  • Strategic Program Planning & Execution:  We architect the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) strategy. We define the critical path that matters to the mission. We drive the execution strategy, or we deploy our schedulers to build and maintain the detailed Microsoft Project/Primavera baselines.


  • Integrated Program Reviews & Governance:  We chair and facilitate critical milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IBR). We know exactly what the government expects to see. We lead the review readiness, or we deploy project engineering specialist to prepare the data packages and slide decks that ensure a successful audit.


  • Proactive Risk & Opportunity Management:  We define the risk posture. We move beyond simple "risk registers" to active mitigation strategies that protect cost and schedule. We lead the Risk Review Boards, or we deploy our risk managers to maintain the database and track burn-down plans.


  • Schedule & Budget Management (EVMS):  We provide the Earned Value Management (EVMS) strategy. We ensure the data tells the truth about program health. We interpret the variances, or we deploy our financial analysts to run the control accounts and generate the CPR/IPMR reporting.


  • Full Lifecycle Acquisition Support:  We guide the acquisition strategy.  From pre-solicitation to contract closeout, we provide the "insider" perspective of a former Gov't Program Manager. We advise on the acquisition pathway, or we deploy our acquisition specialists to draft the SOWs, RFPs, and evaluation criteria.


  • Specialized (SBIR/STTR):  We translate technical innovation into compliant digital documentation. We can support the structure of the proposal strategy, or we can deploy our technical writers to generate the specific (SBIR/STTR) deliverables required by the government.  We know how to transition (SBIR/STTR) technologies into fielded demonstrations.
